How loud is it inside the cab of a semi truck?

dBa if you happen to know, otherwise compare it to something: Much quiter or louder than the traffic going by, with your window down.. for example?

(I am speaking of your own engine noise, how loud is that when you are in the cab with windows closed?)

Depends on the truck. As with any motor vechicle some are tighter then others. I never had a problem riding with my window down. I do remember closing it to hear the phone though.

its not that loud on the inside...its much louder when the windows are down or you are outside the truck
