how many messages can blackberry bold 9900 hold ?

i am currently using a samsung handset which can only hold 700messages max.
and now i am ready to buy bb 9900...so plz help me..plzzzzzzzz

For me, the Treo I used eons ago have the 'forever'
storage of my SMS massages, even for the 9000 the
previous months SMS get deleted automatically after
setting to 'forever'...
