How many minutes does the flash drive hold on a dvd recording ?

im testing a flashy on a PVR recording tv and a 2gb flashdrive went for 20 minutes , the guys at jbfi told me that it should hold 2 hrs worth , 16gb flashy will hold 16 hrs ?? help guys ..
