We know that a bright light bulb runs 100 watts, a typical computer 150 watts, an 8 amp vacuum cleaner 1000 watts.
The Volt's battery is 8kWh. It is supposed to run 40 miles.
Does the Volt really only use 200 watts per mile? It's headlights need 100 watts by themselves. What am I missing in this calculation?
