And do you need to be a certain age to buy them?

You need to be old enough to buy ciggerettes (you will be asked to show ID) and the prices vary a great deal. When I used them a two week supply was about 30 bucks at Target, and I seem to recall that the Target brand not only worked real well (compared to others) but price-wise was the best bet too.
