How much can I expect to make in commission as a T-Mobile salesperson?

I just got a job at T-Mobile as a Retail Sales Associate Part-Time 1 (up to 29 hours, but possible overtime) and I will be making $11.15 an hour. I was told that the commissions vary based on how hard the employees try to sell different features or accessories, but $1000 a month in commission would not be out of the ordinary at all...Do you think that's true? I've never done commissioned sales before (I worked at Best Buy) but I would definitely love to make a grand a month, but is that realistic at a place like T-Mobile (we're the busiest one in our area out of 13 other stores, I was told). Thanks so much for your responses and any tips are greatly appreciated if you have cell phone experience or sales experience.
