...daschound/beagle mix 2 and a half dog? my sis left a candy bar out and somehow the dog decided to rip it apart and eat the entire thing. she also got into some trash that was on the dining room table (She is a little genius when it comes to getting on top of things lol) She has gotten into trash before and has not gotten sick. Should I be worried that something will happen to her since she ate the candy bar? I read somewhere that the darker the chocolate the worse it is for a dog.

i believe over time it can cause diabetes. immediate damage is unlikely. maybe upset tummy, though

No only large amounts of chocolate can kill or make dogs sick im talkin like 1-10 KGS!

Yeah, darker chocolate is worse for dogs. If you have some kind of emergency vet in your area, I would go there, or at least give them a call.
