How much influence do you think the internet has over beliefs?

The internet holds so much information. Information that, without worldwide input and access, may not reach some people.

But as far as beliefs go, how much influence do you think the internet has? Do you think it is a helpful for information that might not be obtained otherwise?
Would you consider it to have a mostly positive or negative influence?
 
Internet has so much information....but it can not change my beliefs....as for its helpfulness....I can't imagine my life without it.....
 
"it has a lot of influence. I've heard of a lot of people converting to, or leaving, other religions because of the info they've read on the internet...and I'm one of those people. if it weren't for the internet, I might never have converted to Islam from Christianity and then left that. now I'm agnostic"
