I have a 1991 Maxima and it has a sunroof. Ok. So the sunroof can tilt up just fine, but it can't open.
I noticed that it opens by coming in the car and going in the hood. On one side, the sunroof tilts down, but on the other, it's as if it's jammed and it doesn't tilt. It looks like it's off track, but there's something more. It looks like something is pulling that side to come down. When I seen it in motion, the left side had this gizmo to pull it down onto the track; then it would be able to pull it back or open, but the right side gizmo wouldn't pull the right side of the sunroof down, meaning it gets stuck. It doesn't wedge or anything, it just won't move anymore.
How much does that sound like? I don't want to go somewhere and pay $500 to get that fixed when all I had to do was by that one gizmo for like $40 and get it placed on for like another $40. LoL!!
