How much spending money should I bring on my vacation to New Jersey?

We are going near Hoboken (Idk if that's how you spell it). We are going there next Friday, and coming home Sunday. We will probably want to go to a club atleast once. We will probably go out to lunch and or dinner a few times. We are going to a car show which costs 15 dollars. I need to throw down 15 dollars for gas. Also, I think we might be taking the bus to NYC atleast once. What is a good amount of spending money for me to bring??
 
a couple hundred dollars, maybe $450-$550counting bus fare. If you don't want to have all of it on you at once put it in a room, most hotels have one in the closet.
