How much stress can a baby platty take?

Umm, my platty fish in my 44 gallon tank with HUGE angelfish had babies and I found two that survived, one is BIG! and it can swim around with the adults and live, and the other is tiny! hes so cute! and I'm putting him in the 5 gallon tank by my computer. I'm scared cause that tank isn't the cleanest :x and I just cleaned it a bunch! but its been a while since I put him in and I'm adjusting him. Will he live do you think?
