Hi all, i plan to convert to Islam in near future (3-4 years), and before that i want to study the religion Islam thoroughly! How much time it would take? What studiyng materials i should use? Of course i don't expect to obtain such knowlege as an Islamic theologian, but, nevertheless ..

It depends on what type of Muslim you wish to become.Most Muslims live in third world countries and are illiterate to the extent that they never attempt to read the Koran which is the Muslim Bible. :capitulate: If you wish to master the Koran and understand its difficult to understand language especially that which describes Islamic justification for violence and physical retaliation,then years of study will be required. :stop glass:
