How much to cancel Verizon Family plan for 1 person.?

My sister is on a family plan with an ex. She wants to cancel her service with him, but wants to know how much it would cost just to remove her. He said $300, but he's also a prick and hates her, so she wants to know.
Has anyone ever done with and could give me a figure?
 
It depends on the phone. But, typically, that is pretty close to the right fee, give or take a few dollars.
