How much to fix an ehausht leak on a pontiac g6?

I just bought a 2005 pontiac g6, and its really loud. I mean really really loud, sounds like a motorcyle. The car only has 35900 miles on it. So in my mind I figure not to be that nothing really should be wrong with it. I really don't know anything about cars. Took it to pep boys and the guy there said its an exhaust leak. I want to get an idea on how much that would cost. And could that be the only thing wrong? I am not sure if something has been hit or anything on the this car
I am not sure if it has a aftermarket muffler on it or a tip. I dont know how to find that out? I plan to call on Monday morning.

Does it have an aftermarket muffler and big tip on it? Its hard to believe an 05 has a leak, should be stainless pipes on it. If you got it from a dealer you should take it back and have them do something for you.
