I had a cockatiel but it recently died from fright and he was not that old. However when we got him his blood feather was cut and it never recovered. I am going to get a love bird and would like to see how much it would cost to have a professional clip it wings trim its beak and nails etc. How much would this normally cost? I would like to have a Avian vet do it because the pet shops dont seem to know how to do it. The pet shop said the bird only needs one wing clipped. I thought that did not sound right so I looked it up. I know now that they need both wings clipped so they can glide to the ground. I live in PA by the way.
