it's going to depend a lot on where you live, how many tickets you've had and how many accidents you've had. if you're driving record is good, expect your rate to plummet. even if it looks sporty, the cobalt doesn't have the reputation that mustangs have...and like you said, it's a much smaller engine size. all of that is taken into consideration when getting a quote. your best bet is to just go to insurance websites and start getting hypothetical quotes...type in your info, that the vehicle will be a cobalt etc...then see what kind of quote they give you. you don't have to buy it it'll just give you an idea.
