How much would it be for a key to be cut on a citroen c2?

How much would it be to just have the blade cut?.

I have the new key fob off ebay and the circuit board is ready for straight swap so programming isnt a worry.
 
Are you very sure that the fob you got from ebay is coded to your car ? Usually the transponder in the fob has to be individually coded to the cars ECU which can only be done by Citroen or specialised auto locksmiths.
 
Citroen will respond with a figure in the region of £132 but they will issue a new key with new chip set.

Timpson's offer limited car key cutting. They are about £25 which is a huge difference but quite often the programming is not identical to Citroen specification. Other key cutting establishments will attempt to cut the key for you especially smaller family run businesses and you can probably negotiate bigger discounts having the key and chip.

Asking for a quote from any place cost's nothing and just make sure you know the return policies if it fails to work.
