It will be very, very expensive to repair this car. To declare a car a total loss, the damages have to exceed 70-80% of the fair market value of the vehicle, every insurance company uses a different percentage.

The list of parts needed is the very basics, you will probably find more damage when the vehicle is torn down. The most expensive parts will be the airbags, probably at least $1,000 each. The entire dash will have to be replaced to put in a new passenger side airbag. There is also frame damage that will need to be repaired. When you look at the pictures of the passenger side of the car, you can see by the gap between the fender and the door that the front end is pushed towards the passenger side. Plus they don't have anything listed for the cooling system, A/C condenser and radiator, it appears there could be some damage to those parts in the pictures, plus the cooling fans are in the trunk.

Also, with a salvage title it will be hard to find a bank to finance this car. If you can find a bank, expect them to only value this car at around 50% of the blue book value. The salvage title will reduce the value that much.

Hello everyone, I came across this salvage G37 on ebay motors, as i'm looking to buy a G35 or G37 for under 12,000$. I was wondering if anyone a bit more informed than I could tell me how much I'd be looking at in repair costs if I wanted to purchase this car and get it repaired to driveable status. Thanks so much for any help you guys could offer me.
This is the salvage car I was looking at.
