How much would this Car Dent cost? (Picture)?

How much? I do not want to go through insurance because my deductible is $1000. I think the paint may have a small crack also. I want it to look like nothing ever happened. 2009 Dodge Avenger

i would use a local dent doctor if it was me if the paint is not cracked that is

look good and check but if you got to get it painted no more than a couple hundred at worst
 
I think the best thing to do is try to find a tailgate like that at a junk yard, hopefully the same color, if not just get it painted.
A dent like that will take a lot of work to straighten and would cost more than a different tail gate.
 
do to the location of the dent on the ridge its going to take some work to get it right you might just like to pay the deductible and then the paint will need to be matched
