how old do i have to be to stay in the Alton Towers hotel?

Me and some friends want to stay there, we are all 17, and i've already booked it and they didnt ask our ages... but i dont want to be turned back when we get there. It implies on the website that an adult is regarded as 16+ ... but i'm not sure?! :S
