I'm writing a novel, and my villain needs a motive to go after the main character.
Basically, the protagonist's brother (who has already been killed by this villain) had, in the past, taken down the villain's crime ring and accidentally killed the villain's daughter in the process.
Now the villain is after the protagonist to exact his final revenge.
Does this sound like a suitable/powerful enough motive for this guy to chase her all around the world for years? Can the need for revenge or justice be that strong?
