Okay, for homework we have to write a poem about our favourite food, and I chose vanilla ice cream. The thing is, I'm horrible horrible horrible at poetry, seriously, it's hopeless. I'm a high school sophomore but my poem sounds like it's by a 7 year old. Anyway, I have trouble ending my poem :S
Here you go:
Of so many things I love to taste,
vanilla ice cream overpowers them all.
with its soft and creamy texture,
it feels like satin melting in my mouth.
the flavour blossoms on the first bite,
tasting like pure sweetness and bliss.
as I savor the melting aroma
it feels like nothing else in the world is better.
Vanilla ice cream,
Oh how wonderful it is,
it will always be my favourite dessert,
