I own a small trucking company at the moment and have 3 dedicated drivers that I dispatch for a commision. At the moment I use a program where brokers post work that they need completed or would like a quote on, to find work. What find though is that this program is live and you have to be really quick and fairly cheap to get the job, which doesnt leave me much room to make money. I am wondering how I should go about canvassing/soliciting local businesses in my area for more one on one business instead of going through brokers?
