how to approach t-mobile sales associate?

My contract is ending and I want to convince them to give me a new phone for cheaper if I agree to stay with them rather than switch company. How would you go about this if you were in my position? Or should i try approach one of those sales people at the mall?
 
Go to AT&T and invest in an iPhone 3GS. It's totally worth it.
