How to Argue Successfully?

When you're dealing with an angry person who is in a state where he's laying down unreasonable demands for you out of rage, what's the best way to deal with it?

My way is to talk in a calm way, agree with the person at places where we both agree, and say my disagreements with him in a detached manner.

What's a better way?

Your way sounds like the best way. There's no talking to furious people--they can't hear anything until they calm down.
