Im only 16 years old right now, i know i have a long road ahead and my career choice may change, But i feel very passionate about firefighting, ive always had a desire to be a guardian figure to the community and help others. I was curious if anyone could give me tips on how to get psychically and mentally prepared. Also what steps i should take after high-school to accomplish my goal. (College courses fire academy etc etc) I live in nevada so im pretty sure id be going with clark county fire department any answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
