How to black out vw emblem?

So I know that I need to spray it with plastidip, but how do I get the front and rear emblems off?

Many auto parts stores carry touch up paint. It's much like a vial of finger nail polish. I would buy a color close to the car's body and paint over it. Not sure why you want to black out the emblem. But, I'm betting that a clear coat is over that emblem. Taking the emblem off could damage the paint job to the extent that the elements could invade and discolor the paint around it.

EVERYTHING on the car is removable and can be returned back to its spot. I am not your eyes.




Otherwise, rather than admit defeat...pull out the 8" angle grinder

pry them off with a putty knife..but make sure you scuff them up good with a scotchbrite and then hit them with a good etching primer before spraying

Idk what plastidip is, but you should go to a car part shop and get some spray window tint and spray those suckers
