I was trying to copy songs from a CD onto my computer, so I could Bluetooth them to my phone. But the problem is, once I'd sent them to my phone they wouldn't play. That's because all the other songs are MP3, and these are 'wma.' They can only open on Windows Media Player.

So is there any way I can convert them so they're compatible with MP3?

Thankyou so, so much.

In Media Player, go to Tools > Options... > Rip Music

Change the rip format from wma to mp3, and re-rip.

Yes. You can use an audio converter (but it's dangerous to use one these days because of the viruses) or use an audio editor. You can download the free version of WavePad (not WavePad Masters Edition) and use the WMA in the editor. Now, dont change the waveform, just Save As... it to another file with mp3 format.

Visit http://www.mediaconverter.org

You can upload your wma's onto thesite and convert them by clicking the mp3 option. It's quick and easy, I use it all the time. No subscription required too.

Hope that helps
