Clean the rice with water properly, soak the same in water minimum 30 minutes, thereafter put the rice in cooking pot filled with water. This is important to note that the level of water should always be around 2 Cm's above the level of rice (any quantity rice and size of pot). Keep it heating on moderate flame till the water starts boiling. Once the water starts boiling, cover the pot and put the flame very low and cook it for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes uncover the pot and check the rice. If you find the rice cooked around 90% put the flame off and keep the rice pot covered for another 10 minutes, thereafter the rice would be ready to eat. In case you find the rice a little uncooked, just add 2-3 table spoon warm water and heat on little flame for 5 minutes more. In case you find sticky, remove the total rice in a covered Microwave pot/ dish and heat for only 2 minutes, the excess water will go away and rice would be dry.
