How to Create a Vacation Gantt Chart?

I need to create a Gantt chart to show staff vacation days for year 2011. I am not familiar with gantt charts so its kind of difficult for me to start this. Could someone who is familiar on creating a vacation schedule on gantt charts, help me, please.
