How to cut out some of a video on macbook pro?

So my dad taped me in the school talent show & wants to make a video of it for the family. We are using imovie. The whole show got uploaded onto imovie but we are trying to make a CD of just me, We just dont know how to get rid of the extra performances besides mine for this so the cd will just show me. Please help!
