How to delete pics on Smartphone?

I have a samsung illusion. I found that it has pics on it in my gallery from my fb and google accounts. I disabled the sync for those but I can't get rid of the pics/folders. There is simply no delete option.

not a Samsung user but one general thought for smartphones is to connect to a pc with connecting cable, find computer, find the device (phone), find the folder that has the pics, select them and delete that way.
