How to discourage a child's bad behaviour when you can't stop laughing?

I minded a child who is outgoing and loud. He does things which I find are funny but are actually bad.
An example, he did a dance and pretended to eat trash and took a cup out of the trash can and started drinking. it was funny but I told him not to as he would get sick but could not stop laughing.

MM I get this with my cheeky grandaughters You need to be a careful parent substitute who looks after his physical safety keep that in mind and let it go only so far you dont have to do more than a stern no but you do need to be fit to stop him - So laugh at what is funny and still have a decisive No! in you.
Talking to children isnt going to have much clout if hes in a giddy mood so be strong and make the boundary you are in loco parentis ask the parents how to stop him they have more experience of how to deal with him. Dont mind him again until you can be a safe protective adult
