I got a a couple of fake anti malware programs on my computer not too long ago and removed them through safe mode and ran a scan with avg and now im virus free ( i think) but they turned off my system restore so i had to run regedit to turn it back on and its working but i tried my system recovery and now its asking me for a cd/dvd...ive used system recovery in the past and ive never had to use a cd/dvd and im wondering why that is...did the virus delete my recovery partition or lock it or what? please help!
