Dear Madam/ Sir,

I have just bought an Acer notebook pc ( home premium ) with preinstalled Windows Vista, English version.

I was trying to download a common Chat software used in China : QQ Chat 2008 Chinese version from :
www.qq.com
While downloading, the processing windows do not show Chinese character but un-coded marks of ???????????????????????????? at the way in the processing small windows

Please kindly let me know how to enable the Windows Vista to be able to recognize the Asian font. I have tried to add Chinese language under : control panel-Region and Language—add Chinese ( PRC ). However it still shows the same problem when I re-download the software.

Many thanks for your kind advice.

Regards,
Carl
