How to fix a wet iTouch that has had water in it for a while.?

Well, I think it has been maybe 4 weeks since the water got in. It worked for a while until just about 2 days ago. The camera was not working about from 2 or 3 weeks ago. I'm not sure how to fix it, but now it wont turn on. Even when its plugged in. It wont show me the charging sign and my computer didn't even notice that it was plugged in. How do I fix this problem? I heard rice helps, but only right after the device has gotten wet. Please help! Thanks
 
4 weeks with wate is alot.
If you think there is still water put it on the sun and make sure the water is gone before u try switchingit on.
If not,give it to apple store and ,abey they give u a new one if you have the warrenty.
If not tell thhe, if they can fix it if not, give it to a technition.

Stil water can last in a ipod for days because inside its moist put it in rice
 
Try not to turn it on before you're positive that all the water has been sucked out by the rice. If you do, it could short circuit.
