1st turn on ur laptop then press F8 after that....? i don't know. i've already back up my data. i have 2 recovery discs..

You should be able to just put disc one in the CD/DVD drive and it will auto start then follow the instructions/prompts. I have two Toshiba Satellite lap tops and this is all I have to do and it installs a new operating system if on one that I replaced the hard drive with a larger one.
