How to get a iphone4 with verizon wireless?

We have verizon and I have the droid eris, and the iphone just came to verizon. I hate the Eris and so does my mom we would like to switch over to the iphone but Its too much money to terminate both of our phones I would have to wait until 2012 to upgrade and I can wait till then. The Eris sucks and I have gone through three of them and every time they make me get the Eris again. How can I get the iphone without it being so much money to terminate our Eris contract?? Help 10 Points
 
They will probably have a deal sooner, because they want to sell you a phone. It has been suggested to wait until summer because they come out with a new phone every year.
