How to get a smartphone?

How do I convince my parents to get me a smartphone when price is not an issue
I want to get a Motorola photon q and I will add on to my mom's twin sisters plan that has 3 phones on it already with unlimited every thing from sprint we pay $30-ish dollars for my flip no text call only phone it will cost 19.99 for the smartphone
 
If you're in school tell her if you get good grades to get you one. Depending on the phone, tell her that she can communicate better because of the advanced features on the phone. If none of that works, ask for it as a birthday or other event gift.
 
Well actually is 19.99 plus 10 dollars premium data that is required and any additional taxes. Then insurance also. I don't know how you convince them. Sprint sucks anyways.
