How to get fonts on Windows 8 to look as anti-aliased and clean as those on a Mac?

I'm using Windows 8.1 and I'd really like to get the fonts to look really smooth and well anti-aliased like on a Mac computer. I have got the built-in Windows ClearType activated but it does not make much visible difference.

I have a font installed that SHOULD look like this: http://puu.sh/5YoPN.png (which looks good)
But, instead, it looks like this on my computer: http://puu.sh/5YoRW.png (which looks far worse)

All help is appreciated :)
