how to get into battle frontier in pokemon emerald(gba)?

i've got through the elite4 in the game but battle frontier isn't showing up which naturally should.i'm using gba beta 3 as my emulator. pls help me to get into battle frontier

After the league you should of been given the SS tidal ticket and you should of received a phone call from scott asking you to go to the battle frontier. go to the ferry in slateport and ask to be taken to lilycove. on board you will be told that you can take the ferry any time to go to the battle frontier. finish up on the boat and when you arrive turn around and speak to the ferry lady and ask to go to the battle frontier.
