How to get into horse hunting?

hi, i really want to get into hunting and i was wondering how i get into it ... like if i know where it is do i just find out what time to get there and turn up with my horse..... or do i attend a meeting and sign up or what? thanks :) xx

(btw i know it is hard work blah blah blah)
