i already have 2 dogs and 2 cats. i bugged the crap out of my dad to let me get the 2 cats about 2-3 years ago, and since then i take care of them at least one of the two times a day. I've had one of my dogs for 6 years now, which we all agreed to have and my dad loves the dog. A couple of months ago, we found a little stray Lhasa Apso mix with extremely matted hair and that was underweight, which we took in. See, now my dad isn't very crazy about the stray and the cats, but he has a very good heart. He pets them and feeds them when I'm gone. My dad talks about how he used to have a rottweiler that he loved and how he would've gotten one if we didn't have the cats. We live by a public area where my dad is now concerned about how we need a good watch dog in case someone ever were to come up to my house. I really want a rottweiler now. We have a good, big yard with a fence all around it and the 2 dogs and cats that we have are good with other animals. My dad also occasionally jokes around about how when i go to college, i'll come home to a rottweiler puppy. I know that hes just kidding, though. My dad also tells me about how i could take care of the pets more. What can i do to persuade my dad for us to get a rottweiler?
