How to get my iphone 3g 3.1.2 out of emergency calls only with out sim...

...card..help please.. im new to iphone..? Please help me i only had my phone for 2 weeks i don't remember what i did, but it is on emergency calls only, it was unlocked and jail brocken, how to get it back to the way it was.. if anyone can help please do so... step by step as i am new to iphone...thank you.

It sounds as though you upfdated your firmware which caused the device to go back to being non-jailbroken and no longer being locked.

iPhone 3GS users : if you upgraded to stock 4.0 firmware you are screwed for now, you need to upgrade from 3.X to 4.0 using custom firmware created with Pwnage tool, that is the only way to jailbreak OS 4.0 for iPhone 3GS.
