My puppy was that way too. I think that the dog is afraid of being confined. My dog never has a problem loose in the house but he gets anxious anytime he gets confined. You need to house train the dog quickly so you won't have to do that anymore because if you continue to do it, the dog may come to resent you later on and not want anything to do with you.
