How to have an out-of-body experience

Have you experienced any of these so called "dangers" 1st hand? Clearly not.

It is not wise to give advice on a subject you know nothing about.

RIIIIGHT, because i have nothing better to do, but to risk my life doing something so stupid and dangerous

and you obviously have some serious credentials, to tell other people about experiance, whether reading a book, or actually doing it. Do not try to make a debate out of this, but please, is it wise to spread such knowledge around, so that everyone can read this???

You do not "know" they are dangerous. And what makes you think they are stupid? How much research have you done on the subject? Very little. I mean, by all means im not trying to get you change your beliefs you are free to think as you wish. But please, do not impose them apon others.

It is fair to present others with ideas and let them sort them out themselfs. But to say stright up "DONT DO ITS DANGEROUS" is very very wrong. ESPECIALLY whe you do not know that there is in fact a danger.

and you do not "KNOW" me, you can't seriously claim to have more knowledge than me or anybody else on a subject, expecially through posting messages online. You do not know the things i have done in my life, or haven't. Dont come at me and say that i have "little knowledge" on the subject. In MY opinion, you are passing around dangerous information, and i suggest you do not do it. It's hard for me to put what im trying to say in words, because i dont spend countless hours on the computers like some people , but heh, seems like your not gonna cool down, but MY claim still stands

"In MY opinion, you are passing around dangerous information, and i suggest you do not do it."

I really don't care how you percieve this information. The fact that you think it is dangerous, does not in fact make it dangerous.

What makes information dangerous anyways? Thats a horrible way to look at things. If you beleive it to be dangerous, do not try it. It is just that simple.

Limiting knowlage is never a good thing.

I'm assuming you are saying this because of your concern for the general public, and there is nothing wrong with that. However, I do believe in the spreading of free information, and so, I will continue to do so.

well yes, you can spread the information, the only thing that ticked me off, was that you neglected the fact that it IS DANGEROUS, but we could go on for days, argueing about this, so i will not continue to post on this thread

Extensive research has lead me to believe there is only two possible dangerous aspects of astralprojection.

1) If you have a weak heart, you should'nt project using the "launching" method, as it is quite startleing and makes your heartrate speed up considerably.

2) You "might" (very very rarely) be drained of SOME energy (some say it is caused by a lack of will power against resisting some of the lesser spirits trying to leach off you).

Other than those two, you cannot be harmed.

Many things in life are dangerous. Driving a car is dangerous. Crossing the street is dangerous. Heck just living is dangerous.
We do these things anyway.

In her book, Out-of-Body Experiences, Janet Mitchell has this analogy:
"My parents did not keep me from walking or tell me that I couldn't, even though they knew I might accidentally walk in front of a moving vehicle; they did teach me how to cross the street safely." (Pg. 84)

So as beginners in OBE, you should not blindly walk into the street.... if you look both ways, you can safely "cross the street" of the out-of-body experience,

What happened to .... "No guts, no glory."

Damn, you beat me to it!! Heh, I was gonna post that

If you want to "look both ways" if it were, I would recomend you practice achieveing the Focus 10 state of awareness.
