How to introduce new fish into a fish tank with old fish in there already?

I have a fish tank with one goldfish and 2 rainbows. They are all about 2 and a half years old. Is there any way to put more fish into the tank?? Im scared that my old fish might attack the new ones.

float the bad there for 15 minutes to equalize the temperature... not 12 retarded hours so they burn out all the oxygen content in water.

once you release the new fish, move the decoration around. you might want to keep moving the decoration with weekly water change for a month to break them in

Put the new fish in a bag and set bag in the tank for about 12 hours than release the fish into the tank and you should be great. That's what I do with my pond fish in the winters
