how to keep MS Office and Other softwares while upgrading to windows 7?

My school has provided us laptops with legit xp, Office, CS4 and other. My laptop though is Windows 7 compatible and has been downgraded by the school to xp. I have bought a Legit windows 7 and want install it on my laptop without partition, How can i do this without losing legit software such as office and cs4. Is it possible legally or is they a third way 'around'???
