How to lift a Cadillac Brougham?

I'm looking for a little knowledge on lifting my 89 Cadillac Brougham (RWD). I'm not talking about jackin it to the sky or anything, but just lifting it a couple inches or so to clear some 22's or 24's. Do I go with just air shocks, will that work? Or do I have to go with heavy duty springs? Any specific springs? I'm lookin for cheap here!!!! Thanks!
