How to lose 10 pounds properly? FITNESS/NUTRITION GURUS HELP!?

I am an 18 year old girl, 128 lbs, and I'd like to lose between 10 and 13 lbs of fat, and build a SLIGHT amount of muscle. However, I don't know where to begin... I know obviously eat right and exercise, but what exactly does that entail?

What types of work outs should I do and how often? (I have access to a gym)

What types of meals should I eat? How many calories/day?

And approximately how long will it take to lose this weight? Is it possible to do in 3 months, or is this not practical?

I know NOTHING about fitness or nutrition, please help!
 
Ok I am going to try and answer this, hopefully a more knowledgeable person jumps in.
I would say four times a week do cardio, such as running, for about 30-50 minutes. Then two times a week so strength training, like weight lifting. Take a day off one day of the week.
Maybe see if your gym has any group fitness things going on, they can really get you motivated.
With nutrition dont go any lower than 1200 calories a day, even that's pretty low considering your not 21 yet. But stay away from refind sugars, fats(not counting the good ones, like olive oil and nuts), and just processed junk in general. The foods I like are oatmeal, eggs, protein shakes, tofu. You should get a juicer if you don't have one, their really good and make vegetables take amazing!
